My explanation is that we have to glorify God Almighty and gave Him thanks for His great Providence. He is the greatest Provider to those not being vain or greedy but to be grateful and respectful of His Being Only God, the Supreme Being of this earth and the whole universe which earth is in. Godfearers do have good stuffs and happy lives from Him. Islam should glorify God Amighty and give Him thanks for His Almighty's bestowing of His good stuffs and happy livies.

vs 2 "For your arrows pierce me deeply, And Your Hand presses me down. There is no soundness in my flesh."
vs/3 "Because of Your anger, Nor there is any health in my bones, Because of my sins."
Psalm 36 and Psalm 38 are to bring us to praise God, the only God in the whole universe which He created and not to be deceived/continue to sin because He and our enemies will destroy us in our sinful states.
